ADOPTED 16.10.08 – KASHMIR

Everyone knows Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa in Kampung Baru, right?  Well, most people stop at a plate or two of the stuff, but my mum cannot.  She had to go and buy some jagung from across the street.  And she just had to look at the injured cat resting at the foot of a streetlight.

So this is the story of how Kashmir joined us.  She was pregnant, injured (most likely hit by a vehicle) and bleeding.  Mum popped her in the car, and Bel (on holiday with Jed in tow) gave her the once over.

Over the next few days, she miscarried and passed little lifeless lumps of blue.  We were sad but realised it was probably inevitable.  However, she pulled through and is our resident Houdini.  She also has a weakness for dog food (don’t ask!).

She is also looking for a good home.  As she is fine with other cats and children, she is the ideal housepet for a family.  So, in the word of the great ABBA,  go on and “Take a chance on me.” (DId I mention that the whole family, from grandparents to grandchildren, have been to the cinema to watch Mamma Mia!, twice?)

Kashmir was adopted along with Coco, yesterday by three office mates who wanted some office cats to keep them company while they work.  We’re so happy for these two cats.
